An untrained Backflow Assembly Tester can affect the proper operation a fire sprinkler system, cause thousands of dollars of damage to a building and generate dangerous false alarms. Backflow Assembly Testers in Colorado re required to be registered as a Fire Suppression Company if they test assemblies on fire systems. Prospective companies must agree to comply with all State and local fire codes. This class will provide the training needed to help the tester with these codes and understand the operation of all types of fire sprinkler systems. Class is interactive with lecture and students are hands-on with live systems and control panels.
Lunch is included in the cost of the class.
At the end of the class an examination will be given. Those receiving a grade of 70% or greater will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement.
